Benevolence
Following Christ in Reaching the Needs of the Local Community
Benevolence is any ministry endeavor to follow Christ in reaching out to the local community when needs are identified. This includes caring for the needy (widows, orphans, homeless, aliens, prisoners, etc.), both within and outside the OBF congregation, promoting the cause of God’s justice for the oppressed and persecuted, and partnering with local benevolent agencies in providing relief. Projects and ministries will be local in nature rather than global.
