Get ready for an incredible day on the water! On June 21st, we're hosting a kayaking adventure for men and kids, ages 5 and up. This is a fantastic opportunity for fathers and other significant male figures to build lasting memories and strengthen relationships with the children in their lives. We'll meet at Oxford Bible Fellowship at 8:30am and caravan to Twin Creek in Germantown, OH for a fun-filled morning of kayaking. The trip will conclude around lunchtime. VBS will encourage kids to look closely at the details of God's amazing world and magnify, or proclaim, the greatness of God. Join us this Sunday as Chris Light, the Young Life Area Director, continues our study of Proverbs! He will take us through Proverbs 26:18-28 and examine how to apply wisdom in the area of our speech. This week, we are also excited to welcome our missionaries serving in Ukraine, Cheryl and Charley Warner! You won't want to miss the church picnic after service and the opportunity to talk with them more about what the Lord is doing in Ukraine.

We are excited to continue gathering to study God's Word this summer! We will be studying 1, 2, and 3 John for 7 weeks. The study is expected to run from approximately July 1st - August 12th. There will be free women's Bible study books on the table in the foyer this Sunday. These are studies that we used previously and have extra blank copies to share! There will be Jen Wilkin studies and books studying Malachi, Philippians, and Jonah, to name a few. Take a moment to check these out and bring some home!

On August 24th, we are excited to have children move up to their new grade level. 18-month olds can participate in the toddler classroom. And 3 years old can join the preschool classroom. Incoming 4th and 5th graders will meet downstairs in the Club 45 classroom. If you have specific questions, please email [email protected].

We are excited to welcome back Miami students during our annual after-service picnic, a perfect opportunity to meet new people and catch up with old friends. Bring your favorite dish to share or consider cooking up pulled pork. More information and a signup will be available in next week's e-news. We can't wait to see you after second service on August 24th for an afternoon of good food, great company, and community!

We will be having a membership class Sunday, September 7th during the first service at 9am. Light breakfast items will be provided during the class hour. As a reminder, this membership class is not only for those who are interested in becoming members. It is also a great “first step” in getting to know more about Oxford Bible Fellowship! You will hear from several elders about our history, our leadership, our doctrinal statement, and other things that make us distinct from other churches in the Oxford area.
